Assigned Bacteria
I was given the bacteria Deinococcus Indicus. A few interesting things I learned is that it is gram-negative and rod shaped. Indicus is red pigmented with the strain type Wt/1a^t. This bacteria is also radiation resistant.
Gram Staining
3/30/19 This week I learned about the process of gram staining, I have never taken a biology class so this was new to me. I am working closely with Stacey who has been letting me observe her research project!
